how is 65 games shítty? most people can only buy 1 or 2 the first day, then probably 5-7 after the first couple months of ownership.
well i agree with you that only offering 1 sku in EUROPE is a mistake. Perhaps they're bluffing, trying to create a sense of urgency. which is not the right way to do things.
my guess is they will have two sku's in Europe in the future, and say something like "well we listened to our customers, based on the feedback we've received, we will offer the "160Gb" model with backwards compatibility for 350 pounds"

what's even funnier is that microsoft changed every single one of their consoles by adding HDMI. though i'm not as upset since it's not HDMI 1.3.
the only reason it upsets me is because everything else i have hooked up to my receiver is HDMI, and it doesn't do HDMI upconversion so I have to keep switching inputs on my TV. Hopefully my 360 will get RROD so i can send it to M$ and they'll send me back an HDMI model.

I'll be purchasing orange box and Mass Effect for my 360 this holiday season.
the choice is simple, if you want BC, you need to pay more. the point is you have a choice.
-You want navi system in your new car? You Gotta pay more
-higher octane gas? You Gotta pay more
-a 1080P set instead of a 720p? You Gotta pay more

the only reason microsoft wins this holiday is HALO 3. the game will outsell anything in the planet. as a gamer however, give me Orange BOX (multi) Uncharted or R&C (PS3) over halo 3 any day of the week.
NOTE: i'm not bashing HAlO3 in any way as it's a good game, but i'm more excited about the games i mentioned.
I'm not sure how it will help the games just yet, probably in a few years, however, it's great news for movies & tv Shows.

i don't agree with any of it. the ps3 is a damn computer and the only thing it has in common with an xbox 360 is that it plays videogames. It's architecture is totally different. Different does not mean, It's "lame".
I'm not sure you have an HDTV, I Do, and trust me, standard dvd's don't do my tv justice, blu-ray does and it looks and sounds incredible.
can you play any live enabled game while downloading anything for 360? No. At least mine can't so if yours does tell ...
